Five Reasons Your Church Is Apostate

Reason #1—Your “Church’s” Mother is “The Mother of Harlots”

In Chapter 17 of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, John has a vision, and in verse 5, we read,  “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” This “woman,” which is language typical of describing a church in Scripture (i.e., Ephesians 5; Revelation 12), is said to be the apostate mother of all harlots. The only church which claims the title of “The Mother Church” is the Roman Catholic Church, The Vatican. Surely, astute Protestants will agree the Mother of Harlots is the Catholic Church based on her numerous doctrinal errors. But they’re reticent to identify the “harlots”—this essay helps you do that. This “Mother Church” indeed “gave birth”—if you will—to many harlots during the Protestant Reformation, beginning with Lutheranism. All churches and groups since that time avowing themselves “Protestant” or “Evangelical” in the modern sense are, at the very least, indirectly claiming to be the apostate daughters of Rome! Much of their “faith and practice” is all the proof we need—let’s see for ourselves.

Reason #2—Your “Church’s” deity and “sabbath” are confusing counterfeits

The significance of this can’t be understated. Briefly, most Protestant denominations, including “non-denominational churches,” have inherited many Catholic traditions and doctrines. The primary two doctrines that’ve been inherited and maintained by Protestants have been the “Sunday Sabbath” and “Holy Trinity.” These two "essentials" are admitted by the Roman Catholic Church to be inventions of men, not God nor His Messiah. In other words, the Catholic Church is eager to admit they alone took the authority to change the seventh day to the first (or, from “Saturday” to “Sunday”) and also to using philosophy[1] to formulate the doctrine of the Trinity in a number of councils in order to help the “common” people “understand” what they say is “incomprehensible.”[2] Here are some very important and enlightening quotes proving these points (Emphasis mine):
  • Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act…And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.[3]
  • Thus the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is a homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) Church.[4]
  • The mystery of the Trinity is the central doctrine of the Catholic Church. Upon it are based all the teachings of the church.[5]
  • ...we have far more in common than what divides us when you talk about Pentecostals, charismatics, evangelicals, Fundamentalists, Catholics, Methodist, Baptists,…well they would all say we believe in the trinity.[6]
If these quotes don’t alarm you, then the sorceries of Jezebel are strong upon your mind! We again look at John’s vision:

And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH (Rev 17:5).

Now consider the word “Babylon.” The root of the word is “Babel,” which Bible students know means “confusion” because of what Yahweh (Jehovah) did at the Tower of Babel (Gen 11:9). The Mother of Harlots is called “Mystery, Babylon the Great” because of her “mystery” (teaching) and the great confusion (Babel) that results. If you’re honest, you’ll know it’s very difficult to get an agreed upon definition or explanation of the Trinity; it’s confusing for the average church-goer to explain; and it’s a major stumbling stone for unbelievers in your witnessing. Yet, if you don’t believe it, you’re doomed to “eternal hellfire.” This is incredibly confusing--you “must believe” something you can’t fully comprehend or be damned? Friend, the reality is that what’s considered the “Orthodox” faith of billions is an ancient mystery religion.[7]

Reason #3—Your “Church” is part of an “Invisible” whole (Universal Church)

I know: you say you’re “not Catholic,” or "fill-in-the-blank". It doesn’t matter in the end-times scheme of things—if you don’t come out of Babylon, you’re guilty by association. Read the warning again: “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Rev 18:4). This, of course, is a stern warning against yoking up with unbelievers, or what’s commonly known as “ecumenicalism,” so you must be aware of what’s at stake! You might not agree with the Rick Warrens and Joel Osteens of the world, but you’re still part of their Universal Church (Catholic Church): “...we have far more in common than what divides us when you talk about Pentecostals, charismatics, evangelicals, Fundamentalists, Catholics, Methodist, Baptists,…well they would all say we believe in the trinity.” The tie that binds is the Trinity, and the homage you pay is Sunday observance. The Devil’s gift wrap is insidious—what’s inside is nefarious.

To broaden our understanding of this point, consider the fact many Protestants believe and teach what’s called the “Universal Bride” or the “Universal, Invisible Church”; the understanding among them is that every person who is saved, or “truly saved,” is part of “the world-wide body of Christ.” Of course, this definition of “Church” is very liberal, and this destroys the Scriptural definition of the word ekklesia, the true Scriptural word (the word church is an invention), which means assembly, meeting. Those who attend the real meetings are the “called out” ones (from the world/ Babylon). There's no “Universal” meeting anywhere; so a “Universal Church” (ekkelsia) is a fabrication of Babylon used to call the wayward harlots back home. Come out of her!

Reason #4— Your “Church” is registered with the Federal Government as a 501(c)3

Because this designation[8] is foreign to most church-goers, the basic idea is that if you’re church doesn’t believe in a strict separation of church and state, it’s in danger of becoming a state-run church. This is the blueprint of the Roman Catholic Church (the first church-state) succeeded by many other Protestant state-churches of the Reformation era. This satanic design of church and state union has taken various manifestations since then. We find it here in the U.S with the 501(c)3 Trojan horse. If churches and countries follow this blue print, they're the image (likeness, icon) of the Beast—and if you’re in them, you’re worshiping it! Proof of this is found in Revelation 13 just prior to, if not concurrent with, the “Mark” of the Beast.
Jesus strictly commanded his disciples to pay their tribute (taxes) so as not to offend the authorities.[9] Yet in our very proud, “Christian Nation” many religious leaders, churches, and ministries are tax exempt. By accepting, or filing for, this designation with the IRS, a church becomes a corporate entity and forfeits Jesus’ Lordship over the church. Jesus said his kingdom isn’t of this world, remember?[10]
What most aren’t aware of is that an exempt organization must “demonstrably serve and be in harmony with the public interest,” and must have a purpose that supports “the common community conscience” and must not be “affirmatively at odds with the declared position of the whole Government.”[11] This is a very dangerous place for churches to be in; for, when it comes time that a church stands for conscience, they’re suddenly faced with losing tax-exemption and other legal challenges (a great financial blow). Churches who’re truly under direct leadership of the spirit of God and Jesus Christ are free indeed. The 501(c)3 churches are like Esau who sold his birthright for a measly bowl of porridge, there’ll be no repentance[12]—there’s a point in time when it’s too late to come out of Babylon!

Reason #5— Your “Pastor” is is a career professional with a worthless degree and/ or lofty title

The word “Nicolaitan” is found in Revelation 2:6,15. The doctrine of the “Nicolaitans” is hated by Jehovah and His son. Why? The doctrine is believed to be, “a religious hierarchy to control the spiritual development of the common people.”[13] In other words, “laity” and “clergy.”
Consider the following. It’s not uncommon for religious leaders, pastors, evangelists, and so forth, to “retire” from their tax-exempt corporate ministry. In the Gospels, and in the Epistles, there’s no benefit like this set forth. Teachers were expected to be examples of humility and self-sacrifice, even martyrdom! This present model adopted by churches only mirrors worldly businesses and corporate structures. However, to be fair, and a bit pernickety, the road to this privilege of retirement is long and arduous.
First, the Pastor/ Leader must spend tuition and attend “Seminary” to attain a degree not unlike those in other worldly professions. The most common are a “Masters in Divinity” and “Doctor of Theology.” These are “necessary” prerequisites for the “Pastors” to preach to the common, often termed “Lukewarm,” folk in the audience. Yet, these qualifications and requirements are absent from Jesus’ teachings:

But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. (Matt 23:8-11)

Unsurprisingly, this system of “clergy” and “laity” is prevalent in the “Mother Church,” so it’s no surprise to find her Harlot daughters adopting the same, albeit to varying degrees.
Second, some of these Pastors/ Leaders transition from one church/ ministry to the other, usually from a smaller congregation to a larger—“bigger things for God!” (namely, larger offerings).
These “Pastors” and “Fathers” are teaching lies and falsehoods, taking part of the money you put in the plate as a tax-free salary. This Proverb aptly describes them: “Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?”[14] Why do they spend so much tuition for an education that, by all Biblical standards, is worldly and meaningless? The doctrines and practices they inherit from these institutions are traditions of men that blind and entrap their future “laity.” Also, why do you pay these people to read the same Bible that sits in your lap? Don’t you have a heart to get wisdom? Yes, there should be teachers in the congregation; but to pay a professional is to abdicate responsibility (much like voting) If they had a true heart for wisdom, they’d do away with tradition and popular notions of “Orthodoxy” and “theology” and sit at Jesus’ feet and learn of his kingdom and God. But, alas, Babylon is a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.[15] Is it time for you to fly away, or have your wings been clipped?
