Anabaptist Apologist is an online resource that offers the seeker a truly Scriptural and historical alternative to the Catholic and Protestant religions.
Dissatisfied with the efforts of other reformers, the Anabaptists strove to return to a truly New Testament way of faith and practice with a strong emphasis on the Gospels and teachings of Jesus. For this reason, they were called the "Radicals" of the Reformation period and faced extreme persecution.
What usually distinguished Anabaptists from their contemporaries was believer's baptism, separation of church and state (including conscientious objection/ non-resistance), and liberty of conscience, among other things. Some groups were even Sabbatarian and Non-Trinitarian. They were the true heretics and iconoclasts of their day.
Here at Anabaptist Apologist, our main purpose is to continue the truly Radical Reformation effort of the forgotten Sabbatarian, Non-Trinitarian, and Anti-Pauline Anabaptist groups while also providing other Non-Conformists and Restorationists a place to have their voices heard.
